The Kelowna School of Discipleship is a community living experience that works alongside the Kelowna Vineyard Church. It is a five month program that will both challenge and encourage your relationship with God. The school is modeled after programs like YWAM’s Discipleship Training School, drawing on the strength and maturity of existing training facilities, while integrating into the local Vineyard Church community.

The adventure incorporates approximately three months in Kelowna and about two months in Bangkok, Thailand. The Kelowna time is spent living in a community house, worshipping, learning, team building, and exploring our relationship with God and each other. Participants will experience the beauty
of the Okanogan Valley and of British Colombia’s Rocky Mountains, as well as discover the streets of Kelowna, where one finds more ‘street’ people per capita than in any other city in Canada.

The school is geared to making friends with marginalized individuals; discovering their stories, hanging out with their friends, learning who they are as people. This is explored as well in Thailand, working with the Bangkok Vineyard. All of our students boast in the amazing relationships that are built as they live in and among the slums in lower Bangkok, learning how to react and interact with vulnerable hearts among some of the most fascinating people in the world. Through the teaching, interaction, travel, and cross-cultural experiences, students develop relationships that begin to shape the rest of their lives.
